Students will identify general shop safety rules and procedures, proper use of procedures for safe lift operation, shop equipment, cleaning equipment and methods. This course is also meant to help students identify sources of service information, appropriate clothing for lab/shop activities, and standard and metric designation. Location of MSDS is also discussed |

Engine Repair |
This course will teach students how to inspect engine assembly for fuel, oil, coolant, & other leaks and determine necessary action as well as how to test coolant; drain and recover coolant; flush and refill cooling system, and replacing timing belt and head gaskets. Students will learn Engine Removal and Disassembly, and Piston, Piston Rings, Connecting Rod, and Engine Balancing. |

Students will learn the function of each suspension system component, how to identify steering problems by inspecting the condition of the steering system, and perform two and four wheel alignment on laser a machine while making necessary adjustments |

Intro to Auto Body Repair & Refinishing |
Provides an introduction to what constitutes a collision as interpreted by the insurance industry. The content in this course also demonstrates methodology for estimating, repairing or replacing of various components and refinishing of the vehicle; use and safety of different equipment both heavy and light duty. |

Minor Body Repair |
Introduces the student to basic sheet metal manipulation. Use of fillers and how to repair plastics is also taught in this course. Content also includes demonstrations with actual hands-on training to reinforce fundamentals learned in the classroom, this course also includes adhesive repair. |

Students will learn how to do proper fame measuring and interpreting readings to correct damage, use of proper equipment to manipulate the frame back into proper alignment. |

This course covers basic mechanical, suspension and chassis service, alignment theory and practical application including aftermarket alignment aids, introduction to basic electrical and electronics operation and service, and in-shop demonstrations with actual hands-on training to reinforce fundamentals leaned in the classroom. |

Auto Body Painting & Refinishing |
The students will be able to demonstrate proper preparation and technique for refinishing. This course introduces the student to the various types of refinishing products as well as the proper application. Color matching and custom painting, in-shop demonstrations with hands-on training to reinforce fundamentals are also learned in this course. |
